Riaan Struwig is the Co-founder and co- owner of Paramotor SA (Pty) Ltd. ta Apex Adventures and one of South Africa's most experienced and respected figures in the powered paragliding and paramotor industry. With more than 30+ years of aviation experience and thousands of flights, Riaan has dedicated his career to advancing the sport, developing pilots, and promoting the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

As a highly experienced Grade A Chief light instructor across multiple aviation disciplines (PPG/PPT/PPC/PG), Riaan has trained and mentored hundreds of pilots, guiding them from their first steps in aviation to becoming confident and competent licensed pilots. His achievements extend beyond flight training, having represented South Africa at an international level and earned Protea Colours for his achievements in the sport.

Riaan's background also includes extensive technical and engineering experience, as well as involvement in the development of South African paramotor systems. Combining deep practical flying experience, technical expertise, competitive achievement, and instructional excellence, Riaan continues to lead Apex Adventures with a clear mission: to provide world-class training, professional support, and an exceptional flying experience to every pilot who joins the Apex family.
